Flint and Steel is a tool to create fire when you punch (with left-click) the surface of a flammable block. Fire can only appear inside air that way. This tool can also be used to ignite Gun Powder and TNT by punching. If you punch a Coal Block with this tool, a Permanent Fire is created on top of the block.
