A Snow Block is a solid block which can be mined by a shovel or even the hand (but slower). Snow blocks cool lava.
Generation
Snow blocks appear in ice sheet biomes. In the v6 map generator they appear in the tundra biome.

Snow blocks can be crafted from Snow, which is a renewable resource.
