Gun powder is crafted from coal lumps and gravel and is used as crafting ingredient and to lay down gun powder trails.
Gun powder can be placed on the floor, where it forms trails and can be ignited. Ignited gun powder ignites neighboring gun powder and TNT blocks. That way, gun powder can be used to safely ignite TNT from a larger distance.
Gun powder can be ignited manually by punching it with a torch or flint and steel.
