This chart shows the distribution of biomes in the v6 mapgen, when 5 biomes (Temperate, Desert, Jungle, Tundra, Taiga) are used. The 5-biome system is available since version 0.4.13.
In the v6 mapgen, each X,Z coordinate has a hidden heat and humidity value that is usually between -1.0 and 1.0. The biomes are determined by the heat and humidity. This chart does not take the “biome blending” feature into account.
