It can be [[Mining|mined]] by a [[shovel]], but the [[hand]] also works, but much slower. [[Cactus|Cacti]] and [[Dry Shrub|dry shrubs]] can often be found on desert sand. It can be smelted into [[glass]] and crafted to [[Desert Sandstone]]. Desert sand falls when there is [[air]] or any other [[:Category:Passable|passable]] [[Nodes|node]] below it.

Desert Sand can be turned into [[Desert Sand Soil|desert sand soil]] when a [[hoe]] is used on it.
